GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A Graaff-Reinet man is glad to be alive, after a car accident occurred in front of him en route to Somerset East on Monday morning, at around 6.45am.
The man, who wished to remain unnamed, was 10km from Pearston when the white Corolla 100m in front of him rolled and crashed into the veld next to the road.
"One man was lights out for a while, and the other two women were in shock," the Graaff-Reinet man's wife recalled his experience to the Advertiser.
The local stayed with the three occupants, who were driving from King William's Town, until police arrived on the scene.
According to Captain Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, no one was seriously injured during the incident. It is unclear at this stage what caused the accident.
