GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Kwandenkosi Foundation held a powerful community seminar at the uMasizakhe Community Hall on Saturday 11 November, under the theme “Tears of a Broken Woman in our Society”.
The event drew church leaders and community members who came together to reflect on personal struggles, healing, and hope.
Addressing brokenness
Guest speakers were Rev Mankayi, Noluthando Jacobs, Vuyokazi Grootboom and Xoliswa Nkonyeni.
The speakers shared moving stories about overcoming emotional pain and the importance of addressing the different forms of brokenness - emotional, physical, and spiritual.
Rev Mziyanda Noqayi and his wife, Nomathamsanqa, highlighted the need for open dialogue and support.
“By sharing your story and providing a supportive community, you can help others heal and find hope. The foundation can be a beacon of light for those navigating dark times,” said Noqayi.
Personal tragedy
The Kwandenkosi Foundation was born out of personal tragedy after the Noqayi family experienced the heartbreaking loss of their baby, who passed away at just nine days old.
Through this pain, the family was inspired to create a space that offers compassion and understanding to others dealing with similar grief and emotional challenges.
Healing
Today, the foundation is dedicated to helping men and women heal from trauma, rediscover their strength, and rebuild their lives.
Its mission is to provide emotional and psychological support, helping individuals regain stability, reconnect with their values and passions, and develop a renewed sense of self.
