GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet Golf Club with festive sponsorship from Pick n Pay Graaff-Reinet Family Store, hosted a successful year-end Christmas Golf Day on Saturday.
A good field of 52 golfers teed off early to avoid the expected thunderstorms in jovial spirits. The betterball scramble format and a Pink Ball competition, made for great golf scores.
Rico Bester and Priscilla West put the field to the sword by scoring 51 points to take the Santa's first prize. They played great golf and won from Patrick Ludick and Cheryl Waddelow on 47 points.
The Pink ball competition was won by the team of Johnny Ludick, Frikkie Coetzee, Hadley Fourie and Mornay Cannon on 41 points. A huge thanks goes out to Pick n Pay Graaff-Reinet for the fabulous festive cheer that they added to our 2022 golfing calendar.
