QUEENSTOWN NEWS - Two men were arrested and a vehicle that was stolen in Queenstown, was recovered by the local police K9 unit on Tuesday 13 April.
According to local police spokesperson, Capt Bradley Rawlinson, police reacted to a tip-off that the vehicle, a white VW Polo, was heading towards Graaff-Reinet.
The dog unit stopped the Polo in Church Street on Friday 16 April. The driver and a passenger were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.

COOKHOUSE NEWS - Two men from Bongweni Location in Cookhouse were arrested for the possession of tik during two unrelated incidents on Saturday 17 April.
According to Rawlinson an undisclosed amount of cash and 20 straws of tik with an estimated street value of R1 080 was confiscated from a 39-year-old man.
Later that day a 26-year-old suspect was also arrested after an off-duty member of the Cookhouse Route Patrol received information of drugs at a house in the informal settlement.
Upon searching the premises, 50 Mandrax tablets, with an estimated street value of R4 000, were found and the suspect was arrested.
