GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The 2023 head girl and top matriculant at Union High School, Caitrin Spence, has received the prestigious Rupert Achievement Award. This award is given to the top matric learner in Graaff-Reinet annually.
The award consists of a generous cash prize that will be paid towards her studies.
Caitrin showcased exceptional success in the recent NSC examinations. She achieved an outstanding average of 92.63% and received an impressive total of 9 subject distinctions.
Her results include:
• English Home Language: 83%
• Afrikaans FAL: 87%
• Mathematics: 92%
• Life Orientation: 96%
• Accounting: 97%
• Information Technology: 96%
• Physical Sciences: 93%
• Tourism: 97%
• IEB's Further Studies Mathematics: 86%
She will be commencing her studies at Stellenbosch University next week, pursuing a degree in B Com Actuarial Sciences.
