GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Alpha and Omega Movement NPC in Graaff-Reinet have successfully organized their last sport event of the year namely “After School Sport” to keep the youth busy after the schools have closed.
Laughton Hoffman Project Director and Dr Harry Solomon, and their team made this a memorable event.
“I successfully coordinated our final sports and social event for the year. To sustain progress, we must consistently demonstrate our dedication to our community's growth,” Hoffman said.
“This year, we have achieved notable milestones as a community, and last week marked the conclusion of our 2024 marathon. I attribute my success to the Lord, Creator of heaven and earth,” he said.
“As we approach 2025, we must be prepared for growth and new opportunities, in accordance with the Lord's will. My mission is to foster strong relationships among ethnic groups, as our freedom and harmony as a society are at stake. We must strive to create a truly liberated and lovely community.
Hoffman highlighted the necessity of skills development and critical scarce skills programs for out of school youths and the unemployed. As well as high focus will be placed on career guidance as schools haven't put much emphasis on that.
Graaff-Reinet, let us continue to act and emerge victorious,” Hoffman concluded.
