ABERDEEN NEWS — Aberdeen SAPS welcomed five new constables at the end of last year, who had just completed eight months of training at the SAPS Academy in Graaff-Reinet.
Constables Nico Jantjies, Siboniso James, Lindrey Lomberg, Mbongeni Olifant and Johannes Fredericks will be stationed in Aberdeen until further notice.
The arrival of these newly fledged constables has helped augment the Aberdeen force. Station Commander Captain Qashani is very pleased to now have an additional two members working in crime prevention, an additional member on rural safety, and two more working in the shifts.
In each field, the newly fledged members are working alongside experienced officers.
