GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – The Department of Basic Education in conjunction with the Dr Beyers Naudé Municipality and Blue Crane Route Municipality will be hosting a career exhibition that will run from 24 to 26 July.
The career exhibition will take the form of a travelling exhibition which will be exposing multiple career choices to the learners of various schools throughout the two municipalities.
There will also be an exhibition for unemployed and out-of-school youths in Somerset East on 24 July at 16:00 at Somerset East Youth Centre and on 25 July at 17:00 at the Graaff-Reinet Town Hall.
Visitors to the exhibitions can expect to interact with exhibitors from various sector education and training authorities (SETA’s), Government Departments, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Colleges, Public and Private Universities and many others.
The organisers ask that parents please ensure their children are not absent from school during this period and that all young people feel free to attend the sessions for out-of-school youth.
