GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - For local knitters and crocheting enthusiasts, an opportunity to meet other knitters and to have fun sharing your favourite craft with others has recently presented itself.

Avid knitter Jackie Bezuidenhout, the proprietor of the Loop Wool Boutique in Graaff-Reinet, recently starting a knitting and crocheting group that meet once a week.

These weekly meets are held each Wednesday at 10:00 in the courtyard of Karoo Trade centre in Church Street.

Attendance is free of charge.

"If you're new to knitting, it's a great way to pick up new tricks and always have someone at the ready to help you through difficult parts of patterns or explain a new-to-you technique," says Bezuidenhout.

"Knitters and crocheters of all skill levels are invited to join the group," concluded Bezuidenhout.
