The park boasts a bird list featuring nearly 260 species within the boundaries of its 19 022 hectares.
To the delight of bird lovers everywhere, preparations are already well-underway for the 9th annual birding weekend to be hosted by the Camdeboo region's SANParks Honorary Rangers.
The event is planned for the weekend of 16, 17 and 18 March.
Many avid birders have already registered to participate in the weekend's activities which include many guided excursions during which the area's extensive selection of birds can be spotted.
