Make use of space
Even if space is at a minimum, it can't hurt to find a little spot of secluded floor, throw a plush rug and some scatter cushions over it and there you have it! A lovely little place to get away from it all.
Put up a fort
If there's a free corner somewhere, you can always hang a mosquito net, a tent or the super popular teepee for a little bit of quiet time in your homemade fort.

Claim the couch
If all else fails, you can always claim an armchair for your sole reading pleasure. Adorn it with plenty of comfy pillows, your favourite throw and keep a lamp nearby for some late night reading.
