LIFESTYLE NEWS - Wire hangers are great to hang clothes but they can be useful in so many other ways too.
They are super malleable, which means you can change their shape to accommodate your different DIY needs.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
1. Organise the lids of your pots
Sometimes there is not enough space in your kitchen cupboards to accommodate all the pot lids. This can make your cupboards look untidy and unmanageable. Why not try wire hangers to hang up the pot lids? First, stretch the hanger from the hook to create a diamond shape. With the hook facing up, bend two sides of the bottom to create an umbrella shape. Place your lid in the middle with each side gripped by the hanger.
2. Hang your shoes on the line
When you do not have a place to hang your shoes that have been washed, use a wire hanger. Bend the wires so that the top and bottom are combined. Then bend the two sides into a horn shape. Hang a shoe on each side.

3. Create your own towel rack
Who said you need to spend a lot of money to hang your towels in an orderly fashion? Just take a wire hanger and stretch the bottom and top (where the hook is). Bend it into a number eight shape. Combine the two circles to create one. Put some tape or ribbon to secure your circle. Find a place to hang your towel.

4. Hang up your belts and ties
Your accessories can also hang up in your wardrobe if you do a simple wire hanger trick. Take the bottom wire of the hanger and bend it into three arches so that you are able to hang an item on each. Place your belt or ties on the arches.
