GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - At the tender age of 11, Graaff-Reinet youngster Johndre Ludick is already earning a reputation as a phenomenally talented golfer.
Playing off an 8 handicap, he recently captured the attention of the South African Development Board (SAGDB) who selected him for the SAGDB Golf Challenge contested in Rondebosch from 9 to 11 December last year.
Johndre, the youngest player in the competition, scored an 80, 75 and 84.
Following this, he was selected to represent the SAGDB national team in his age group.
The Graaff-Reinet Golf Club is immensely proud of him. “His dedication and long hours of practice have been justly rewarded,” said a spokesperson for the club.
UPDATE 17 January: The Graaff-Reinet Advertiser also learned this week that Johndre has been chosen to captain the EP Country Districts team. Well done!
