HOFMEYR NEWS - A woman aged 43 from Hofmeyr, was raped and stabbed to death during load shedding, between 05:00 and 07:00 this morning, Saturday 20 May.
According to a media statement released by the Hofmeyr Community Development Forum (HCDF), the perpetrator left the scene unnoticed because it was totally dark.
According to the forum this happened in a ward where many women live alone, and the community is in shock and angry.
The police were on the scene after the incident was reported, but no arrests have been made.
