NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS — There is always something unusual on the cards in Nieu-Bethesda and Friday, 18 May is no exception.

The Karoo Lamb Restaurant will host a 'Whiskey Tasting and Afval Evening', organised by the 'Graaff-Reinet Afvalgilde' to raise funds for Huis van der Graaff.

For R250 you can enjoy an interesting meal that includes potato soup, oxtail, Greek afval, Scottish haggis and tipsy tart.

A variety of whiskeys will be available for tasting. For an extra (extremely reasonable!) R250 you can also get accommodation in the village and a hearty breakfast at 'Tot Hier Toe Padstal'. All proceeds from the accommodation and food go towards this worthy cause. Be sure to book your place quickly for this fun-filled evening.
