GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The Ward 2 Branch of the DA encompasses the Horseshoe in Graaff-Reinet and Nieu-Bethesda and surrounds.
Nieu-Bethesda used to have its own branch but it was decided to unify the Ward and combine the two branches.
The AGM was held in the Reading Room at the Graaff-Reinet Club on Tuesday evening, and the organisers were impressed by the number of people who attended, including a few members from Nieu Bethesda.
The outgoing Chairperson, Brian Hough was unable to attend the meeting, so it was chaired by Cllr Samantha Graham, who also acted as the Presiding Officer for the election of the Office Bearers.
