KAROO NEWS - Vuyani Safe Haven's staff were welcomed at Frontiers Karoo Restaurant for a scrumptious breakfast by the owner, Chantel Annear and her friendly staff.
On this special day the staff of the children's home didn't have to serve others, but could fully appreciate the opportunity to sit down and be served.
Elaine Stanley, chairperson and Certified Life Coach, inspired the ladies with a motivational talk. She told every Vuyani woman to always shine like the star she already is.
Chantel, a world traveller, shared her experiences about the women she met in other countries, women who didn't have the freedom most women in South Africa enjoy.
Chantel and her staff sweetened the day by ending the meal with a traditional milk tart slice, topped with a delicious blueberry compote.
