GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Hoër Volkskool hosted the Interschools 2022 annual chess challenge against Union High School on 1 August.
The learners had one hour to complete the event.
The junior section was won by Laer Volkskool 23 – 13. Under the leadership of captain Karl Venter, Union High School won the senior section 14 - 2.
Union High School won the event overall 27 - 25.
