GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Union Middle School's preparations are well underway for the Junior Production of 'The Jungle Book' which will take place on 7 and 8 March at 18:30 each evening.
The show is suitable for children and adults of all ages and promises to provide wonderful entertainment!
The familiar tunes from the musical can be heard down corridors, children suddenly swing into dance, lines are being rehearsed, costumes fitted and backdrops painted.
Raised by a family of wolves since birth, Mowgli must leave the only home he's ever known when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan unleashes his mighty roar.
Guided by a no-nonsense panther and a free-spirited bear, the young boy meets an array of jungle animals, including a slithery python and a smooth-talking ape. Along the way, Mowgli learns valuable life lessons as his epic journey of self-discovery leads to fun and adventure. Be sure not to miss this beautiful production!
Tickets are R50 for adults, R30 scholar/child and are available at UHS reception.
