Two die in a shack fire

NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - It has been confirmed that a shack fire in Koeikamp settlement, has claimed the life of two persons, aged 18 and 20.

The fire broke out in the early hours of this morning, on 7 January,  at  05:15.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to the Graaff-Reinet mortuary.  The Graaff- Reinet Police have opened an inquest docket. The circumstances surrounding the shack fire is still unknown.
