Spandau Secondary School's Pink Tea: 24 October
This event hopes to raise funds for cancer sufferers and to put the spotlight on cancer awareness. It will be held in Botanics Hall at 3pm. A minimum donation of R50 per person is requested. All funds will be donated to the Graaff-Reinet Cancer Association.

Movie night at John Rupert Theatre: 25 October
The entire family can enjoy and sing along to Mamma Mia 2. Doors open at 5.45pm and the movie starts 6.30pm. Tickets are R40 pp, with a cash tuck shop available. Email annarief@gmail.com or WhatAapp 083 455 9045.
Aberdeen primary full service school debutante ball: 25 October
Aberdeen Primary will hold a debutante ball at the Aberdeen Library Hall at 6pm. The 26 debutantes, from Grade R to 7, will charm the audience with outfits and dances. Cost: R5 for primary school children and R10 for high school learners and adults.
St James' Flower Festival: 25 and 26 October
The festival will be open to the public on Friday 25 October from 9am to 5.30pm, and on Saturday 26 October from 9am until 11.30am.
The tranquil garden of the church will be the setting for refreshments on the Friday.
Tea and scones will be served during the morning and afternoon, and lunch from noon. No entrance fee, donations welcome. Contact organiser Moyra Marais (084 050 9448) for more information.
Dam Day: 26 October
Hosted by Assembly Church, residents will gather at Nqweba Dam at 9am and work until all litter and dead fish are cleared. Bring clothes that can get messy, water, gloves and sun protection. Prizes will be up for grabs. Message or WhatsApp your name and surname to 066 513 3184 if you want to join.
John Rupert Theatre hosts Kevin Leo and Jannie Moolman: 30 October
Tickets are R150pp and R130 for scholars and pensioners. Doors open at 6.30pm and show starts at 7pm. Tickets available from the Graaff-Reinet Tourism Office. Email manager@graaffreinet.co.za for more information.
PCC Worship Family Church celebration: 1 November
A youth celebration will be held in Santaville, on the corner of Krom en Lang Street, at 7pm. Entry is free.
Bird Club outing: 2 November
