KAROO NEWS AND VIDEO - Madison Tam (9), an ardent pianist from Cradock Preparatory School, recently passed her Initial Trinity College of London music exam with 90%. Madison’s mom, Megan, says that she always loved the sound of piano music, and could not wait to start with piano lessons in Grade 1, when she was just six years old.
“She regularly plays at eisteddfods and does very well,” says her music teacher, Ann Bekker. “Madison is a talented learner.”
Megan says Madison never misses a chance to play on the piano and is ecstatic every time she gets new sheet music to practise. This young talent says that she is excited to perform on the stage when she is all grown up. “Singing while playing the piano is my ultimate goal,” says a bubbly Madison.
