GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - FlyKaroo Air Services, which opened their doors in March 2017, are offering a "taster" of their services at this year's Karoo-lus Festival.
Their Robinson R66 turbine helicopter can accommodate four passengers.
During the two days of Karoo-lus they are offering a 5-minute scenic flight over Graaff-Reinet at a drastically reduced price of R200 per 5-minute flip. Vouchers may be purchased ahead of time from their offices in Somerset Street, or at the festival.
Take-off and landing will be in the grounds of Union Prep School in Plasket Street. Operating hours will be from 14:00 to 17:00 on Friday, 28 September, and between 08:00 and 17:00 on Saturday, 29 September. Flight times may not be pre-booked, but as each flight only lasts five minutes, the waiting time should not be long.
