GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet police are urgently appealing to anyone who may have information concerning the alleged gang rape of a 26-year-old woman last Saturday, 9 February.
The woman was on her way to Kroonvale at 23:00, and as she was passing under the bridge in Springbok Street, she was attacked and dragged into the bushes by six men.
It was here that she was allegedly raped, by all six men.
After the incident she managed to dress herself, and ran to get help at the home of a family member in Kroonvale.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious, or who may have heard talk about the incident on the streets, is asked to contact the Graaff-Reinet police on 10111 or 049 807 1100.
