COOKHOUSE NEWS - Swift response by Cookhouse Vispol members, Cradock K9 and the Cradock highway patrol on Thursday 13 May at about 12:30, led to the arrest of two suspects, aged 34 and 36, and the recovery of a white Ford Ranger 2,5 T stolen in Rosettenville in Johannesburg on Tuesday 4 May.
After information was received that vehicle was heading in the direction of Cookhouse from Gqeberha (PE) on the N10, members from the Cradock police and Cookhouse police were activated to intercept the stolen vehicle.
The patience and determination of the SAPS team paid off when the driver and his passenger were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. They are due to appear before the Somerset-East Magistrate's Court soon.
Cookhouse Station Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Dennis Ferreira applauded all the members who were involved in the successful recovery of the stolen vehicle and the arrest of the two suspects.
