GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Natalie Davenport, Destiny Swimming Academy's swimmer as well as Union Preparatory School Gr 1 to 4 swimming coach, will be driving to Howick in the Natal Midlands on 7 February to swim the challenging 8 Mile Charity Challenge (12,8km) in aid of KZN Wildlife's Save the Rhino Fund.
Davenport has reached her goal of raising R10 000 with the help of friends and family from town and all over the world.
Race day is 9 and 10 February and Davenport says training is going well under the watchful eye, guidance and careful set selection by coach, JP Seyffert. On top of the 8 Miles Charity Challenge she will also be swimming the 50th Ladies Midmar Mile on Sunday 12 February.
