NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - The staff and learners at Lettie de Klerk School in Nieu-Bethesda were delighted to receive a wonderful donation of fourteen 20 litre drums of paint as well as new window panes from the Sneeuberg Farmers’ Association this week.
Chairperson Graham Murray handed the paint over to staff on Thursday afternoon and painting will commence shortly.
In staff news, Leney de Vrye has secured a permanent post as a Grade 7 educator at the school. A qualified intermediate phase teacher, De Vrye says that she is looking forward to working with the oldest children in the school and looks forward to living in Nieu-Bethesda.
The school feeding scheme continues to provide each and every learner with a warm meal each day, and the learners are grateful to the ladies who cook these meals for them.
