GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEO - October has arrived, and recent rain in Graaff-Reinet and surrounds will hopefully help plants grow and flowers blossom for a beautiful Karoo summer.
Locals will have the opportunity to celebrate their beautiful gardens together with the rest of South Africa, when the country celebrates Garden Day on Sunday 20 October.
Residents are encouraged to wear a flower crown and celebrate Garden Day with their neighbours, friends and family.
"Garden Day is for everyone: beginner gardeners, indoor plant mums and dads, patio potters, rose growers and wild weeders," the organisers behind Garden Day SA said in a statement.
