GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Hold on to your hat and wineglass, the 10th Stoep Tasting Festival starting today, Thursday 25 May offers three heavenly days of strolling from stoep to stoep sampling fine wines, craft drinks and local cuisine.
Graaff-Reinet Advertiser will be there to chat with visitors and to bring you photos of all the latest activities and beautiful people on each and every step.
This Great Wine Weekend festival was first held in 2014 and back then only 45 tickets were sold.
Today it is considered one of the premier wine tourism weekends in Africa and presents top independent wine and spirit producers from all over South Africa and even abroad.
It is almost impossible to find accommodation for this weekend, as people from all over South Africa is making their way to this very popular festival, and looking at the weather - visitors and locals can expect to have fun in the sun.
