GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Progressive Ikamva Combined Special School, a school in Umasizakhe in Graaff-Reinet for learners with disabilities, is in dire need of donations.
According to Andrew Hermaans, manager of the school, the school battles financially, with little help from local government.
“In a recent meeting to discuss these issues, many organizations didn’t show up,” Hermaans told the Advertiser. However, they are grateful for those who do support them.
Currently, the school is located the Methodist Church in Umasizakhe.
Hermaans said the school’s biggest need is for transport. However, donations of the following will also be welcomed: crochet hooks, size nine needles and any other sizes, wool in different colours, powder paint, sponges, glue sticks, small paint brushes and bicycle spray.
Those who can assist are asked to contact 079 310 0862 or 078 660 0913. Email: andrewjhermaans@gmail.com.
