GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The girls and staff at Union's Herby Arnott House are sad to bid farewell to Margaret de Boer who has worked there for an astounding 30 years.
According to hostel superintendent Martie Sullivan, Margaret has been a hard-working, diligent member of staff who seldom missed a day’s work.
Margaret took great pride in preparing delicious meals for the girls and her knowledge of the intricacies of running a large kitchen is incredible. Margaret will be sorely missed because of her positive work ethic and helpfulness.
The Herby Arnott girls presented Margaret with cake, gifts and flowers and formed a guard of honour for this special lady who has been an integral part of the lives (and feeding!) of so many.
