GRAAFF-REINET NEWS -  The Graaff-Reinet community has been rocked by a recent spate of robberies, burglaries and theft from vehicles.

According to police spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson, during some of these incidents, the robbers also attack and injure their victims.

In one of the latest incidents, a resident posted on a neighbourhood Facebook group that burglars broke into a property in Stockenstroom Street at 03:45 on 14 March making off with a laptop, electronic tablets, electrical tools, radio equipment and a Shure microphone.

Captain Rawlinson urges the community to be extremely vigilant and crime conscious. "Criminals are looking for soft targets. Please be alert and exercise great care."
