KAROO NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet Police are investigating a case of rape, which was opened in Graaff Reinet on 21 December.
According to wo. Majola Nkohli, spokesperson for the Eastern Cape Police it is alleged that on 21 December at about 06:00, police were summoned to a complaint of rape at an open field near a local primary school in Graaff-Reinet.
At the scene, police found a female victim who seemed to be in excruciating pain. She was rushed to the Midlands Hospital and later taken by ambulance to a hospital in Gqeberha.
