Prayer walk held on Pentecost day

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEO - Approximately 15 people participated in a Pentecost prayer walk in Graaff-Reinet on Sunday 31 May.

Hennie Burger, an inter-church preacher, and pastor Joy Williams from the Restoration Healing and Faith Church, led the walk, which started and ended at Angel Park at 8am. 

They walked towards Church Street, where they turned around at the corner of Somerset Street and walked back towards Angel Park, where they all prayed together.

Burger is from Port Elizabeth but is staying in Graaff-Reinet now, where he preaches in different communities.

As they walked they prayed for salvation, renewal of residents' hearts, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and for people living in poverty.
