GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – Notice was given today, Tuesday, 10 April, by the Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality that the interruption of electricity supply to Graaff-Reinet, Aberdeen, Nieu-Bethesda and Klipplaat scheduled for this Sunday, 15 April, will no longer take place.
The maintenance work has been postponed by Eskom to Sunday, 22 April.
Therefore, the electricity to the affected towns will be off from 06:00 to 18:00 on Sunday, 22 April.
No guarantee can be given that the current will remain off for the whole of the time specified, therefore consumers are warned that their installations must be considered live at all times.
