MISSING PERSON - Swartkops Police detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 60-year-old woman who went missing on Saturday 30 December last year.
According to Col. Priscilla Naidu, it is alleged that on 29 December last year at approximately 20:30, Ntombizanele Gamone left her home in Fusi Street, Wells Estate and told her niece that she will not be long.
According to information the police received, she went to the house of her boyfriend in Wells Estate and left the house at approximately 2:00 on 30 December and never returned home.
She was reported missing on Sunday 31 December last year at Swartkops Police. “Enquiries were made with family and friends where she frequently visited, local hospitals and mortuaries were also visited with the family, but they were unable to trace her. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a pink gown with white dots,” says Naidu.
