GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - About 100 ANC and Nehawu members marched to the Midland hospital in Graaff-Reinet earlier this morning, Thursday 15 April, to hand over a petition to representatives of the Department of Health.
According to information, the reason for the march is due to the lack of doctors and staff at the hospital.
Complaints about the CEO of the hospital, which included alleged racism ans favouritism, was also noted in the memorandum.
They gave the department until 22 April to respond to their grievances.
The group started their march at approximately 10:00 this morning when they walked down Bree Street.
The protesters dispersed peacefully and no incidents of violence were reported.
