According to wo. Majola Nkohli spokesperson for the police a case of culpable homicide was opened for further investigation.

One person died in an accident in Aberdeen
The Mercedes, also involved in the accident, wedged in between a fence and a tree next to Hope street.

KAROO NEWS - The driver of an Opel Corsa died in an accident with a Mercedes-Benz last night, 18 August. The accident occurred near the Kraai River Bridge in Hope Street, at  21:15. 

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and is currently in custody.  

According to wo. Majola Nkohli spokesperson for the police a case of culpable homicide was opened for further investigation.

The identity of the deceased is known to the Advertiser but will be announced only once the police confirm that the family has been informed.
