Old Unionite to star in reality show

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Former Graaff-Reinet resident and old Unionite Angelique ‘Angel’ Pather will be starring in the MNET reality show, The Single Wives SA.

The show follows the journey of six very different women, looking to find love again.

Pather, an advocate currently pursuing her PhD, lives in Johannesburg and has two children, Priyanka (17) and Cruz (12). “Their love and support have allowed me to do the most in my life and I’m so blessed to have them,” the doting mom said.

Pather already has a certificate in Information Technology and Conveyancing, Diplomas in Corporate Forensic Investigation and Commercial Law, and an LLB. She also has an international certificate in International Finance from Delhi University of Technology, and recently completed her MBA.

Back in her school days, Pather was crowned Miss High Schools and Miss Graaff-Reinet. She says that she is excited for the town to see her journey on the show.

“My mother, a seamstress at Karoo Gallery, will be watching with the rest of my Graaff-Reinet family. I hope that the Graaff-Reinet community will support me.”
