GRAAFF REINET NEWS - The Spandau Secondary School participated in the Summer Games in East London last weekend with nine of the scholars participating in various sporting codes. Jaydee Oliphant, Lungaston Baartman and Kevin Oormeyer were selected to represent Eastern Cape Sevens Rugby. 

Cameron Williams was selected for the Eastern Province Basketball team. The tournament focused on high schools to provide them with an opportunity to showcase the scholar sporting talents.

Lugaston Baartman represented Eastern Province at the Iqhawe rugbyweek.

David Williams, the basketball coach, expressed how proud Spandau School was on the achievements and sportsmanship shown on the rugby field by their learners.
