GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - As on Christmas Day, The Midlands Hospital personnel are proud of two babies born on New Year’s Day.
Nadine Andrews's third child, Jaydine (2,84 kg), was the first of the two New Year’s babies to see first light at 08:56.
At 12:07 Johnila Arries was born and weighed 3,24 kg at birth. Six hours later she was transported by ambulance to her hometown to be, Aberdeen.
This morning (2 January) Nadine and her baby, Jaydine, was still in hospital. Both in good health.
Nadine was overwhelmed by her third baby and just smiled and cuddled her new born, wrapped in a small blanket.
