GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – The Mayor of the Dr Beyers Naudé Municipality, Deon de Vos, has encouraged residents to work closely with the municipality to address problems facing their communities.
Mayor De Vos and his mayoral committee embarked on an outreach to the various communities within the municipality late last year.
The meetings, after having been postponed for a bit, have commenced again, with the first meeting to be held on 6 February.
The purpose of these meetings is to introduce the municipality’s top management to the community, and to engage with the communities on various important matters relating to this.
The meetings will be held as follows:
- February 6: at the Alex Laing Hall in Kroonvale at 17:00
- February 8: at the Umasizakhe Community Hall at 17:00
- February 12: at the Jansenville Popyi Mejane Hall at 17:00
- February 13: at Willowmore Down Location at 17:00 (venue to be announced)
- February 14: Rietbron at 11:00 (venue to be announced)
- February 14: Steytlerville at 17:00 (venue to be announced)
