Market a must-visit next weekend

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Union Pre-School is hosting its second annual Karoo Market during Graaff-Reinet’s Stoeptasting weekend, on Saturday morning, 25 May.

With homemade organic goodies, ranging from frozen meals to fresh Karoo lamb, to bottled jams and relishes... there will definitely be something for everyone!

There will be a food court with delicious takeaway foods and cool drinks and an area where visitors can sit comfortably and enjoy all that the market has on offer.

Fresh farm produce, from pumpkins to bunches of freshly-cut spinach, to delicious baked goodies and homemade rusks will all be available.

There will also be craft stalls of all shapes and sizes with non-profit organizations selling their wares, providing visitors with the perfect opportunity to support community upliftment initiatives.

Karoo farm-fresh meats, biltong and chilli bites will be on offer and this is most certainly an event not to be missed.

All in Graaff-Reinet and visitors to the town are urged to support this local market as "Local is always Lekker"!

The market will be held at Union Preparatory School, from 09:00 until about 14:00.
