KAROO NEWS - Sarah Baartman District - A case of culpable homicide is under investigation following a head on collision between two trucks on the N10 between Cookhouse and Paterson last night, 22 February at 19:30.
The trucks caught fire and the body of an unknown male was found near one of the burnt trucks. The drivers of both trucks and a co-driver are in a stable condition and being treated at a hospital in Port Elizabeth.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution when travelling through the Olifantskop Pass, as recovery operations are still taking place.
