GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Energetic members of the wider community are reminded of the annual Hobble and Hike for Hospice, which this year will take place on Saturday, 12 May.
It is billed as an “epic journey of self-discovery and determination”, and according to the organisers, this 50km walk, run or cycle along the farm roads of the Karoo, through amazing scenery, will forever remain in participants’ memory.
The entrance fee is R1 000 in the form of sponsorships for Camdeboo Hospice and includes a goody bag, T-shirt, boerewors roll and beer or cold drink at the end of the journey.
The goal this year is to raise R100 000 for Hospice, who do so much for their patients in the community.
