GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEO - Liquor stores in Graaff-Reinet opened their doors this morning, 1 June at 9am, for the sale of alcohol.
People had been queuing since 6am for a spot in the queue. Delivery trucks were still busy unloading beverages, while business owners were getting ready for the rush of buyers.
At Tiki’s Bottle Store, the owner, Christo ‘Tiki’ Pietersen and personnel assured that everything is in order to assure safe distancing and that sanitiser is available at the doors. Tops also demarcated spots for buyers to stand.
At Graaff-Reinet Liquorland, Dennis 'Blikkies' Blignaut had extra security guards in place to ensure that order was maintained.
