ABERDEEN NEWS - The community of Aberdeen was saddened this week to hear of the sudden death of Connie Vos at the age of 84.
Connie worked until her 80th year, running what for many years was the town’s only estate agency.
She had only recently returned from an extended stay in Cape Town to visit to her daughter and son-in-law, Constance and Eugene Marais, and passed away on Sunday afternoon, as the result of a heart attack.
A memorial service will be held at the Aberdeen Dutch Reformed Church this Thursday, 31 January, at 10:00.
Her family would like to invite all who knew and loved her to join them for the service, and for tea afterwards in the church hall.
A full tribute to Connie, and her contribution to the town, will be published in next week’s Advertiser.
