GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Councillor Linda Botha was delighted to receive some unexpected feedback to a small item in her August newsletter.
An extremely kind community member (who wishes to remain anonymous) came forward with a generous offer to purchase paint and materials to spruce up the Horseshoe Clinic at the back of the Town Hall in Ward 2.
This is obviously part of a municipal building, so all the correct procedures had to be followed. Approval was given by Jama Vumazonke, Corporate Services Director of the DBNLM, and a team of CWP workers have recently completed the revamp. Staff and patients at the Clinic are all thrilled with the result.
The Clinic is currently striving to obtain “Ideal Clinic” status so the upliftment from this project is a real bonus.
The staff is very grateful to both the councillor for raising the matter and the donor who so kindly came forward with sponsorship.
