GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A 14-year-old boy from Graaff-Reinet received a wheelchair from Mbulelo (Lelo) Tini, this is the second wheelchair he has handed out lately.
This handover took place on 9 May and although the boy wasn't home, his aunt was there to receive it on behalf of him.
Lelo thanked the donor of the wheelchair and said that this generosity enables him to reach out to the needy, one day and one person at a time.
Lelo also handed over warm tops to homeless people at his usual gathering spot, near Botha's Garage in Graaff-Reinet. He is also asking for the assistance of the public to donate footwear - sizes 4 to 9 - to the homeless.
The next project called, "that time of the month" will culminate in August. He is aiming to donate 10 000 sanitary towel packs to underprivileged teenage girls in and around Graaff-Reinet.
