NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - Young leaders of Lettie die Klerk Primary School in Nieu-Bethesda recently enjoyed a prefect camp, made possible by the Maranatha Streetworkers Trust in Port Elizabeth.
The three-day leadership camp for the Grade 7s was held at the beautiful set-up of Albie and Trudi Basson.
The leaders learnt how to build up their confidence, and that change can start in their communities. Thy also took part in group discussions and participated in a talent show. The slippery slide proved to be the favourite activity.
Maranatha also visited the senior residents of Pienaarsig for a Valentine’s lunch, and organized a Play Workshop for parents of the community, where they were taught about the importance of play in the development stages of children.
